Mission Statement
PLAN of Massachusetts, a non-profit organization, provides
planning and trust management services for individuals with disabilities
to enhance their quality of life, support their integration into the
community, and provide peace of mind to their families.
We do this by:
-
Helping trust beneficiaries access supplemental resources
to meet their needs. All trust distributions are made in
a sensitive and ethical manner, consistent with federal
and state law.
- Supporting and implementing individualized life care plans.
-
Administering the Albert N. Solomon Memorial Trust Fund, which
grants financial awards to former residents of the Dever State
School who have limited resources.
PLAN of Massachusetts is a non-profit corporation
organized under the laws of Massachusetts and is recognized by the
Internal Revenue Services as a charitable organization under Section
501(c)(3) of the Tax Code. Organized in 1982 under the name of "MARC
Trust, Inc.," PLAN of Massachusetts adopted its current name when it
became affiliated with the National PLAN Alliance (NPA) in 2004.
